The first A380 airline
Singapore Airlines operated its first A380 route from Singapore to Sydney on October 25th 2007. Today the Singapore based airline serves the routes from Singapore to Hong Kong, London, Los Angeles, Melbourne, Paris, Sydney, Tokyo and Zurich with its 10 A380-800s. Altogether Singapore Airlines ordered 19 A380s.
On board the A380
Singapore Airlines has equipped its A380 with a total of 409 (layout 2) and 471 seats (layout 1). This A380 has First Class Suites and the widest Business Class seats. Learn more about the furnishing of all cabin classes.

Worth knowing
Singapore Airlines welcomed their 1-millionsth A380 passenger on February 18th 2009, only 16 months after the A380 maiden flight to Sydney on October 25th 2007.
