Lufthansa launching ceremony end of July
On July 28th 2010 Lufthansa has officially named their 2nd A380 after Bavaria’s capital “Munich”. The launching ceremony took place in the morning, followed by two 90-minutes scenic flights crossing the Alps. Admission to the airport’s Visitors Hill was free of charge that day. There were also bus-roundtrips from the airport’s Visitors Park to the A380. Lufthansa uses their first two A380s to serve Tokyo.
